Planning around overlapping goals helps you make progress while avoiding small mistakes, such as leaving rewards unclaimed. This Afternoon Paws achievements guide organizes the major milestones and gives you a route toward earning all 100 in one save.

The final achievement, An Afternoon to Remember, requires the other 99 achievements in that same save. Keep your completion effort together as you expand the cafe and build your collection.

Chapter 2 opens the Care Cottage, giving you access to grooming alongside the poster-cat milestone. Make that chapter an early target so you can begin working on care achievements while continuing the story.

Food options unlock through completing Chapters 3–6: kibble, catnip, creamy treats, and canned food arrive in that order. Food provides temporary income and growth bonuses when consumed. Restock to maintain those bonuses; running out pauses them while leaving base income intact.

The game has nine main story chapters. Reaching Chapter 6 earns its own achievement, but keep following the story while working through your remaining goals.

Cat Collection, Duty Roster, and Bond Milestones

Several Afternoon Paws achievements distinguish between owning cats, assigning cats to duty, and using different personalities. Check each condition separately: a larger collection alone does not satisfy a simultaneous roster requirement.

Every cat begins with the same base income. Choose favorites for your Bond goals, then adjust the duty roster around the daily personality requirements.

For Knowing What They Like, reaching level 10 is only part of the task. Give each of your three qualifying cats a pet that awards Bond XP afterward.

Petting also has cumulative milestones at 1, 10, 30, and 100 valid pets. Wait through the cooldown between attempts; extra clicks during that cooldown do not increase the achievement count.

Guests, Earnings, and Commission Achievements

Keep three guest counters separate when tracking Afternoon Paws achievements: total visits, different guests, and completed guest-and-cat interactions. Repeated visits advance attendance milestones, but variety matters for achievements involving distinct visitors.

For guest interactions, track both sides of the encounter. There are achievements for involving 2, 3, and 6 different cats, plus separate goals for involving 2 and 6 different guests. Total completed interactions have milestones at 1, 3, 10, and 30.

Follow rare-guest clues for your initial encounters. Heart Tickets can invite rare guests you have already met naturally, so use those invitations for return visits after making the introduction.

Grooming and Cat-to-Cat Interaction Achievements

This group of Afternoon Paws achievements rewards both repetition and variety. Grooming the same cat repeatedly advances session totals; grooming different cats advances separate collection-style goals.

For pair achievements, record which combinations have interacted. You Again! rewards repeating one pairing, while The Cafe's Feline Circle requires 12 different pairs. Friendly, neutral, and hostile outcomes all contribute to the 25-interaction goal.

Collect grooming milestone rewards separately from finishing sessions. Equipment upgrades also have their own targets at levels 1, 2, and 4.

Unlocking an accessory and equipping it are separate achievements. For the three-cat dressing goal, matching styles are allowed.

Cafe appearance milestones include the default cafe when counting ownership. Background themes have a separate achievement for owning two, also including the default.

There are 100 Steam achievements. An Afternoon to Remember requires unlocking the other 99 within the same save.

Do spent coins count toward earnings achievements?

Yes. Earnings milestones count coins earned cumulatively, including coins you have already spent. The targets are 100, 1,000, 5,000, and 50,000 coins.

Do hostile cat interactions count toward achievements?

Yes. Feline Social Hour counts friendly, neutral, and hostile outcomes. The distinct-pair goal for The Cafe's Feline Circle also accepts any outcome.

Why are repeated pets or grooming sessions not increasing progress?

Clicks made during the petting cooldown do not count. Canceled grooming sessions also do not count, so wait between valid pets and finish each grooming session.
